CBR to Spotlight C-Suite's Cybersecurity Role
TVNewsCheck.com (May 15) touts that its upcoming Cybersecurity for Broadcasters Retreat (CBR) "will offer a systematic approach to enlisting support from C-suite executives on the vital issue of investing in a security program." A panel devoted to the topic will include Erin Essenmacher, chief programming officer at the National Association of Corporate Directors. Headlining that June 21 session will be Mike Kelly, chief information and security officer at E.W. Scripps. Together, they will outline strategies for helping corporate leaders to better understand the long-term nature of investing in security. The two-day CBR will begin June 20 and be held at the OMNI Hotel at CNN Center in Atlanta. It should be noted that the entire event is being held under a nondisclosure agreement (or NDA).
